The Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF) is an association of winter sports federations recognized by the International Olympic Committee that compete in the Olympic Winter Games. It was founded in 1976 in Innsbruck, Austria, as the International Assembly of Winter Sports Federations. The AIOWF encourages cooperation between its members, dealing with specific questions connected with winter sports in general, and with the Olympic Winter Games in particular. Also choose the joint delegation and appointments of winter sports representatives on the commissions of the IOC and other international organizations.
