FIBA Melanesia Basketball Cup

Short History

     The FIBA Melanesia Basketball Cup is a men's international basketball competition for Melanesian region of FIBA Oceania. The first edition was held in 2017, in Papua New Guinea. It serves as the qualification tournament for the Pacific Games and FIBA Asia Cup pre-qualification tournament. The second edition, in 2021, has been postponed for 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
