North area Sub-zone

Short History

     The North area Sub-zone is a basketball sub-zone of the FIBA Americas. It is a zone of North America that is integrated by Canada and the United States. The North area Sub-zone does not hold competitions either at the national level or for basketball teams. But, there are professional basketball leagues which are played in the territories of the United States and Canada, in some cases in the territory of Mexico, too.
