Central American Women's Handball Championship

Short History

     The Central American Women's Handball Championship is a women's international handball competition that is governed by SCAHC. It is a competition for the women's national handball teams of Central America. The first edition was held in 2014 in Honduras. The first two editions were organized by PATHF and also served as a qualifying tournament for the Pan American Women's Handball Championship. After IHF suspended PATHF in 2018, the first edition under SCAHC was held in 2021 and also served as a qualifying tournament for the South and Central American Women's Handball Championship.
